The Standard size of a American Cocker Spaniel as an Adult varies from 13 1/2 to 14 1/2 inches, and 18-24lbs. for a female, and 14 1/2 to 15 1/2 inches, 24-28lbs. for a male.
There are NO MINIATURE Am. Cocker Spaniels, and Breeders that claim such a thing are trying to pull one over on you. and usually have tons of health issues, and are structurally unfit.. However, there are specimens that are undersized according to the standard, and should not be Exploited in a Breeding Program to claim them as miniature Cocker Spaniels since they as Breeders, are not breeding to The Standard to their best ability, and improving the quality of their animals.
There are also NO RARE COLORS, in our Breed. There are colors that are harder to produce, or find. Each Breeder should breed to improve the quality of their dogs, not just for color, or a certain atribute they like, the overall dog should be evaluated and considered when breeding future litters. The Breeder you choose to buy your baby from should not try to entice you with such things, as they are not being exactly truthful. Please look elsewhere if a Breeder offers these qualities to you.

HEALTH
We care about the dogs that we breed and screen carefully for genetic defects. This is to ensure that any puppies we produce will enjoy a long healthy life and bring you years of happiness. Even as selective as we are, sometimes a puppy is born with a problem that is not noticable at birth, or an early age. This is why we offer a 72 hour Money Back Health Guarantee for any communicable diseases, and a One (1) year Limited replacement guarantee against genetic health defects which are effecting quality of life, and prone to the Breed.
Our puppies are also checked by our Veterinarian and come with a completed Health Certificate (when shipped), and complete vaccinations to date of transfer, usually 2-3 vaccinatons, & deworming by 8 weeks of age.
We also supply AKC Registration papers, Pedigree optional, vaccination, & Deworming records and upcoming schedule, Puppy Care Package including Iams Puppy Eukanuba Sm. Breed Puppy food (We reccomend Small Breed Puppy Food rather than Medium Breed due to caloric content.), Cocker Spaniel Puppy Manual, and House Training Tips can be printed from our website!
SOCIALIZATION
Our babies are raised in our Home, underfoot ( we are Masters at "The Puppy Shuffle"), with children in their lives from day one. We handle our babies many times a day, and give them plenty of love and affection, and of course kisses! We try to introduce them to other pets, including our cat, other dogs, our birds early on, since we know our own pets are well vaccinated. And once they have received their 2nd shots at 8 weeks, we introduce them to other people, by sometimes taking them to the local park for an afternoon, or to family member's homes, where they may meet other pets of all sizes, and people other than our immediate family. We also have many visitors that stop by to see our Newest babies at our home. All of which gives the puppy a well adjusted start in life.
They are also started on house training, and taken outdoors weather permitting.

Price of an individual puppy depends on many things, including Pet/Companion, or Show Quality, first and foremost. Also considered, is age, sex, and color, and how much training, we have put into the puppy. Our puppies are all Crate trained at an early age, as we feel this is the best place for a puppy when it is unsupervised, or sleeping. Prices can be disclosed personally on any particular puppy by Emailing us below. Prices are set on quality, conformation, and color for our Cockers,
and includes Size for our Toy Poodles.
In general our prices range $575-875. for our Cockers, and Toy Poodles.

The old saying..."You get what you pay for!" A puppy that costs you very little, may cost you much larger amounts monetarily, and emotionally in the Vet's office. Please search for a Quality Breeder, who does genetic testing on Adults.

Puppies are sold in the order of deposits received to hold. Remember, we get a large volume of E-Mail about available puppies, and there are sometimes several families interested in the same puppy. So to be fair, the puppies will be sold to the first qualified family that sends a deposit to hold the puppy!!
No puppy will be held without a deposit, longer than 48 hours.
We are very concerned about the placement of our babies, so we do give priority to people wanting Pet/Companion puppies, and try to match each puppy's individual personality, and temperament with their new family.
Because of this, we do not like to take a deposit before the puppies are 2 weeks of age (except under certain circumstances) as it is not possible to understand the puppy's personality, and temperament at a very early age. E-Mail is a great way to communicate, but before we will take a deposit on a puppy we require that we talk to you, either in person, or by phone at least once!! We are selective in our Breeding, so some colors are not always available. Please check our Puppies page regularly to see what's on the ground, and what's coming soon!

We offer safe shipping anywhere in the continental USA, including Alaska, Canada, and overseas. We ship from Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) Cedar Rapids, IA which is about an hour and a half drive each way from our home. We use Northwest Airlines.. Shipping for normal shipping for within the United States (total Costs Breakdown listed below), and VIP Counter to Counter shipping (for weather related delays, or special treatment) depending on destination, weather, and temperature.
Puppies can not be Shipped until 8 weeks of age, and we prefer 9-10 weeks. Puppies CAN NOT be shipped at temperatures above 85 degrees F, or below 20 degrees F in all destinations, or at any airline connecting flight locations..
Also required for shipping are Cayman Clipper Crate by Marcherrio, Bedding, a Blanket, food/water cups, Chew toys, and Interstate Health Certificate, and health check by our Licensed Veterinarian prior to shipping, Payment for Flight, and Flight Insurance, which needs to be added to the final payment of your puppy, at a cost of $115. Actual Shipping/Flight costs can be arranged COD for only actual flight cost itself, (normally $125 NorthWest, or $180 Delta)

The most important information of all,
is that "We care about all of our babies, and we were there for their birth, when they opened their eyes, for thier first steps, and our voices were the first that they heard." So, We also want to be there for you, too! Feel free to call with an update or question, share a funny story, or just to send us a picture!! We feel our job does not end when the puppy is transfered to their new family, it's just beginning! We love these kids, and love to hear about how they are doing, how they live, and grow. We will ALWAYS take a puppy/dog back without question, and rehome it into a loving home.
