He was a Rescue Bird, and in need of someone with a little more experience with Birds. Even though he had a very bad beginning in life, he is a very forgiving Bird, and all the terrible habits, and fears, he came with are but a distant memory. He has become a huge part of our Family, he will out live us all, but it is our hope he remains in our family forever!
His favorite past time is to climb in bed, lay on his back on the pillows, and watch TV at night...we hope to capture this on Film someday!! So check back often...

Baby is was our Introduction into Larger Birds, she is a Goffin's Cockatoo Female.
She is very much loved here, at least by Becky...
Cockatoos are rather noisey birds, and tend to scream quite often for attention, or to get what they want if they are spoiled!!
She will remain with us, and become Carissa's after we are gone.
We thought it would be fun to hand raise some Baby Goffins but found out in short order, that "THEY" pick their mates...and we are leaving that up to the EXPERTS!!!
